The innovative technology for manufacturing of oil-free, graphite self-lubricating parts will be launched by Tecnobronze at Intermach. By using solid lubricating plugs, PTFE or Graphite, uniformly distributed (20 to 30% of the contact area), the novelty allows for better sliding and easy handling of the parts, with long durability and attrition resistance, pursuant to the requirements requested by the customer. The solution applies to high pressure and slow speed processes, in which the work conditions do not allow for the presence of hydrodynamic lubrication.
The lines manufactured from such technology encompass steel accessories, such as guide columns and plates, wedges, bushing locks, release columns and pins. “The main advantages of this technology are the exemption of maintenance, fluid lubrication and its contaminations, low attrition coefficient, corrosion resistance, low wear and tear, resistance to high loads and long shelf life”, pointed out Alex Rodrigues Badu, director at Tecnobronze. Since it dismisses the use of oil in a number of equipment, the lubrication technology reduces the impact to the environment, since the solid lubricant takes the role that assigns a series of benefits in that issue.
The differentiated machining will be another highlight for Tecnobronze at Intermach, with customized technical support in view of the customer’s needs. The company is specialized in casting and machining processes in bronze-aluminum, high conductivity copper and special high stiffness bronze, developed by using quality criteria focused on perfect results of product manufacturing, including self-lubricating components for dies and molds, plates, bushings and prisms, following all effective rules and specifications. The product line is also comprised of rings, centrifuged bronze bushings, guide plates, billets, thimbles and parts, pursuant to the drawings in different alloys.
Tecnobronze has its own casting and laboratory, including spectrometer, durometer, in addition to structure targeted to customer service with machining equipment, in order to answer the projects in general and manufacture parts pursuant to requested drawings or measures. The self-lubricating part line serves the die tooling, automotive, industrial machinery maintenance, plant, and other sectors. It also manufactures alloys in accordance with the customer’s need, in bronze-aluminum, bronze-tin, copper and high stiffness bronzes.
