The demister for machine tools, which will be displayed by Air Clean at Intermach, aims to separate mist by means of centrifugation and to filter the environment’s solid particles. In this centrifugation process, the exemption of air mist thrown out of the machine reaches 99.95% of efficiency. After centrifugation, the air passes through two more static filtration steps, which assure the removal of final solids from the air. The centrifuged oil in the process returns to the interior of the machine for reuse, which avoids impacts to the environment by exempting the disposal.

Air Clean has models 200 and 400 to meet the different requirements of mist filtering in the metalworking industry. The MOD 200HX was built for installation over the machine, is small and of great suction capacity (1450 m³/h). It is the smallest model of Air Clean, indicated for application in machines that generate small or medium volume of mist. The MOD 400HX was built for installation over the machine or pedestal, with great suction capacity (2250 m³/h). It is the biggest model of Air Clean indicated for application in machines that generate medium to large volume of mist.

Both models are equipped with open rotor, which does not use filter refill to filter the mist. Its function is to suck up the oil mist and throw it towards the mist eliminator. The refill that filters oil from the mist is located on the inner wall of the body, facilitating replacement and extending durability. To replace it, simply loosen the four front pan screws quickly and without removing the mist eliminator from the location, which prevents its imbalance.
