The 19th Technical Seminar on Industrial Automation organized by the ISA Curitiba Section, in parallel to Intermach 2019, will discuss trends in the instrumentation, control systems and automation market, on September 18 and 19, in Joinville / SC (State of Santa Catarina). The program will include lectures by renowned specialists in the field and reference companies in industrial automation with operations in Brazil and in the international market.

The Seminar will be held at a promising time, considering that the automation market in Brazil increased by 8% from 2017 to 2018 (Brazilian Association of Automation-GS1 Brazil)[C41] . The southern region is where the automation market grew the most in 2018, with an increase of 13% in all sectors. Gil Fábio de Souza, president-elect of ISA District 4 – Brazil, says that automation in Brazil is being implemented with a focus on delivering better experiences, products and services to the end consumer. “This shows a tuning of companies with customers, and the ISA Technical Seminar is one of the bridges between the need for industrial processes and suppliers of automation technology,” he says[C42] .

The positioning of ISA in the market
