FIDIA Highlights Innovation in High-Complexity Machining

Present in Brazil for over 30 years with its own subsidiary, Italy’s FIDIA is presenting its most advanced solutions for complex 5-axis machining at Intermach, consolidating its position as a global benchmark in the development of high-performance machining centers, CNCs, drives, software and calibration devices. At the fair, the company shares its commitment to raising industry standards through technologies that integrate all the essential elements of precision machining: machines, numerical controls, drives, software and accessories.

This year’s main highlight is the launch of the new nC19-24 ACL enhanced CNC, which incorporates the unique ACL (Adaptive Control Logic) adaptive logic, combining high performance, compact design and operational intelligence.

FIDIA’s new generation of numerical controls has been designed to meet the most demanding requirements of modern industrial machining. Featuring an 18.5″ wide Full HD screen with P-CAP multi-touch technology, a physical keyboard and a newly designed pushbutton, the nC19-24 offers significant gains in ergonomics, agility and operating comfort. But the real difference lies in the integration of ACL adaptive logic, which enables performance gains of up to 30% in the roughing phases, as well as extending tool life with dynamic optimizations during the machining process.

This CN is applied to FIDIA’s own machines and in total or partial retrofit projects, and to OEM machines, functioning as a versatile automation solution with very low energy consumption. Its compact architecture and operational intelligence make it ideal for companies looking to modernize their equipment without sacrificing reliability and innovation.

MACHINING CENTER DIFFERENTIALS

Full integration between all the elements of its solutions is a competitive advantage for FIDIA. The “E” Line Machining Centers are examples of this synergy, offering various configurations to meet different sizes and production needs. Among the highlights is the DL321 5-axis Portal Gantry, equipped with linear motors and renowned for its structural rigidity and millimetre precision.

All FIDIA machining centers feature FIDIA XPower drives, developed in-house to offer maximum energy efficiency and dynamic control, and the HMS calibration device, which ensures absolute alignment and precision of the 5 simultaneous axes in all work phases.

All FIDIA CNCs come equipped with the ISOGRAPH CAD CAM program, specially developed to make the human-machine interface more intuitive, increase productivity and reduce setup time. This software is essential for ensuring reliable simulations and efficient programming at the foot of the machine.

Companies that already own machining centers from FIDIA or other manufacturers find the brand a reliable partner for partial or total retrofits, supplying state-of-the-art CNCs, drives, software and accessories. This approach extends the useful life of the machines, brings the plant up to date with Industry 4.0 requirements and reduces operating costs with low-energy solutions. FIDIA’s ability to provide integrated CNC + Drives + Software systems also attracts OEM machine manufacturers who want to raise the technological level of their own products with a ready-to-integrate solution.

ABOUT FIDIA

The company’s Brazilian subsidiary, which has been operating for over 30 years, is responsible for serving the whole of South America, especially Brazil, Argentina and Chile. It has a complete infrastructure for technical assistance, repair laboratories, training, retrofitting, installation and commercial support, always in line with the headquarters in Italy. This guarantees FIDIA customers a complete experience, from design to after-sales, with agility and specialized support.

The solutions are aimed at companies that deal with 5-axis machining of complex geometries, such as manufacturers of molds and dies for the automotive, white goods and footwear sectors, as well as the aerospace, oil & gas, design and general mechanics industries. The combination of precision, robustness and flexibility makes their machining centers and CNC systems among the most valued on the market.
